Interpage offers E-mail, FTP/file-drop, Web-based, and
Telephone-based methods to submit messaging and other dispatch requests
Telephone access submssions allow customers to submit dispatch requests by use of either an textual message send by SMS/text messaging, an alpha-character message sent by the TAP/IXO telephone (modem) protocol, a numeric-only message, or a simple phone call where Interpage detects a given specific Caller ID (or more than one), which in turn triggers a message or other action to take place. All telephone methods of dispatching or triggering Interpage to send a message or alert may be used in conjunction with one another, so even if one method fails, the others may be used as a fallback to ensure message delivery.
As with all Interpage messaging products, detailed confirmations are returned, with both a “queue” confirmation indicating that a message dispatch request was received, and a “send” confirmation after a message is properly sent (or failed to send, with reasons for the failure).
